Das Artbook zu Witch Hat Atelier ist das wahrscheinlich atmosphärischste Artbook das ich je gesehen habe. Es besteht im ersten Teil (ca 60%) aus farbigen Illustrationen, die teilweise schon von den Mangacovern bekannt sind. Der zweite Teil (ca 40%) enthält dann Schwarz-Weiß-Zeichnungen. Text gibt es bis auf eine Seite Einleitung und 0,5 Seiten über die Mangaka nicht. Die Verarbeitung des Hardcover-Bandes sowie die Papierqualität ist hervorragend. Die Zeichnungen von Kamome Shirahama zeichnen sich - wie bereits aus dem Manga bekannt - durch ihren enorme Detailgrad aus und transportieren Stimmungen und Atmosphäre ohne jedes Wort: Der Charakter der einzelnen Figuren sowie die Stimmung jeder Illustrationen ist sofort erkennbar. Die Details laden zum verweilen auf jeder Seite ein und man erkennt auf den zweiten Blick oft noch weiter Kleinigkeiten auf jedem Bild. Für Fans der Reihe ein absolutes Highlight.
