Ich glaube, ich habe es schon beim ersten Buch dieser Reihe gesagt: wer Action und schnelle Plottwists erwartet, der ist bei diesem Buch nicht richtig. Nichtsdestotrotz habe ich es wieder sehr gerne gelesen. Dieses Mal begleiten wir Freya und Carole auf einer Schiffsreise, wo die beiden letzten Endes einen Verbrecherring zerschlagen. Die Hintergründe und Zusammenhänge waren wieder sehr komplex und in die Irre führend, sodass ich wieder keine Ahnung hatte, wie die Auflösung aussehen könnte. Die Erzählweise der Autorin erinnert ein bisschen an Agatha Christie oder Arthur Conan Doyle. Was ich damit sagen möchte: es wird mehr auf die Charakterentwicklung von Freya Wert gelegt und auf die Beziehung der Protagonisten untereinander, als auf Action oder blutige Szenen. Das Ende hat mich mit einem guten Gefühl zurückgelassen. Teil 3 werde ich sicherlich auch lesen.
