A psychological thriller about a young girl named Viola who escapes from the cult she was raised in on the night of the sacrificial ceremony after being chosen as the next sacrifice for their "Savior," and is forced to leave her only real friend behind. Finding an old barn to rest for the night, the owner Carl discovers her one morning and invites her into his and his wife Jodi's home temporarily for a few days. She never leaves, not until five years later, when Viola is rediscovered by her past and has to leave more loved ones behind for her safety...Viola is always on the move as the years fly by, experiencing unexpected feelings and struggles as she tries to take control of her life, forcing herself to face the consequences of her actions from thirteen years ago.
