Heteronorm, very religious. The part where he made a woman stay in her very unhealthy marriage and used her faith to accomplish it was very difficult to read for me. Still three stars for the helpful advice.

Super wichtiges Buch

Ich habe beim Lesen dieses Buch so viel über mich selbst & menschliche Beziehungen gelernt, mich aber auch mehr mit meinem eigenen Partner auseinander gesetzt und an mir gearbeitet. Ich bin sicher, es wird auch einiges verändern & einen ehrlichen Raum schaffen für Gefühle & Wünsche. Unbedingte Leseempfehlung für alle, die an ihren Beziehungen arbeiten & ihre Liebessprachen herausfinden möchten.

Every single person on this planet should read this book! For better relationships and for yourself. A must read! Thank you Gary Chapman for this great work.

A lot of examples and it opens your horizons to maybe working on your relationships differently

The examples were helpful. Made me realize how little I knew about my partner and I'm glad it opened my eyes to all the efforts needed in a committed relationship. The religious subtone later in the book made me dislike it a little. Overall a little repetitive and definitely recommended to 2x the audio book.

Not my cup of tea. Nothing really mind blowing for me. And a little to repetitive for my liking. Also he is very religious and I found it too much Christian talking.

The book is quite informative and gives a new perspective on communication in a relationship. I enjoyed the read.
