Das ist eines der schlechtesten Bücher die ich heuer gelesen habe. Dabei hätte die Geschichte durchaus Potential gehabt. Aiden und Cassidy wachsen in desolaten Verhältnissen auf und geben sich gegenseitig Kraft. Bis Aiden alles hinter sich lässt um professionell Eishockey zu spielen. 10 Jahre später treffen sie sich wieder, doch Aiden erkennt Cassy nicht mehr. Und sie spielt ihm was vor. Mich hat das alles so kalt gelassen. Die traurige Vergangenheit und die Probleme die sie heute haben. Ich fand beide unglaubwürdig und unsympathisch. Es gab keinerlei Spannung zwischen den beiden. Band 2 liegt zwar schon auf meinem #stapelungelesenerbücher, ob ich es jemals lesen werde bleibt abzuwarten.

Overall really good. The story was good and nicely written but I wasn't really drawn to the book. There was a small plot but not really one that you couldn't see. I like how the story went on but there needed to be a bigger plot twist. I liked how they "remembered" some things from their past. Overall a good book.
