Summer in the Scottish Highlands ist mein erster Roman von Donna Ashcroft und hat mir einige sehr schöne Lesestunden bereitet. Die heimelige Atmosphäre der Highlands, die netten Figuren, die romantische Lovestory… das alles zusammen hat mir großen Spaß gemacht. Der Schreibstil der Autorin war flüssig und gut zu lesen. Es hat mir keinerlei Schwierigkeiten bereitet, mich in die englische Originalsprache einzufinden. Ganz besonders schön finde ich das Cover. Herrlich bunt passte es zu meiner Lese-und Sommerstimmung.
