Is your ability to focus and pay attention in free fall?
You are not alone. The average office worker now focuses on any one task for just three minutes. But it's not your fault. Your attention didn't collapse. It has been stolen.
Internationally bestselling author Johann Hari shows twelve deep factors harming our focus. Once we understand them, together, we can take back our minds.

It made me rethink and evaluate my own usage of devices especially my smartphone which I am thankful for and I should make it a regular practice. However after having finished the (audio)book not too many specific insights/study results/etc sticked with me and instead the lecture left a blur of things and sentences I vaguely remember. Maybe these kinds of books just don’t work for me ;( lastly, the parts where a „lost focus“ was explained by external factors was in my opinion a bit too extensive. Some premises (e.g., that the tech giants like google have the best in mind for us - so why don’t they change their user interfaces) were simply unrealistic.
