Dieses Buch ist unfassbar schön, aber total traurig. Ich musste weinen als ich es laß, manchmal vor Lachen, manchmal weil es so schön war, meistens aber weil es traurig war. Er erzählt über seine Vergangenheit, über Sachen, die ihn wieder auf die Beine gestellt haben — und gebrochen. Über seine Kinder und wie sehr er sie liebt. Ich kann dieses Buch wirklich empfehlen, allerdings nur, wenn man ihn kennt (noch besser mag). Das Buch gibt es nur auf Englisch, doch ich hatte es innerhalb einer Nacht durch. Ein wunderschönes Buch, was mich ihn noch besser verstehen lassen hat🫂🫶🏼
Ein sehr schönes und auch bewegendes Poem-Book, welches ich gestern Abend gelesen habe. Ich dachte mir, wieso eigentlich nicht jetzt? Und es war einfach super angenehm zu lesen, verschiedene Gedichte aus verschiedenen Situationen, wobei ich auch manche markiert habe. Ist nicht unbedingt für jeden etwas, aber mir hat es beim lesen sehr viel Spaß gemacht.
I had originally no intention of picking up this book, assuming it was published because of Misha Collins' name exclusively, but the poems included in the Amazon preview made me change my mind, and the full poetry selection absolutely delivers what the preview promises. The first and last poems are the best of the book (which is just the right way to choose a publishing order), but none of the poems missed for me. Some of them made me think during the first few lines that this would be the first one I didn't like because they can sometimes get weird, but at the end Misha Collins always manages to bring it back to something with an emotional punch or an "ah" moment. I really enjoyed reading this collection and can recommend it if you like modern poems. If you're looking for rhymes, you will be disappointed, though.

Ich bin auf dieses Buch aufmerksam geworden, weil ich Misha Collins auf Social Media folge – und ich wurde absolut nicht enttäuscht. Was hier entsteht, ist mehr als nur eine Sammlung von Gedichten: Es sind Gedanken, die unter die Haut gehen. Seine Worte sind ruhig, manchmal fast unscheinbar – und treffen gerade deshalb umso tiefer. Ich war beim Lesen völlig gefesselt und habe das Buch in einem Zug durchgelesen. Man spürt in jeder Zeile, dass hier nicht nur ein talentierter Schauspieler schreibt, sondern ein Mensch, der viel fühlt und reflektiert. I discovered this book through following Misha Collins on social media – and it completely lived up to my expectations. This is more than just a collection of poems; it’s a glimpse into deeply personal thoughts and emotions. His words are soft, sometimes almost understated – and that is exactly what makes them so powerful. I found myself completely absorbed and read it in one sitting. You can feel that behind the actor is a thoughtful and sensitive person, someone who puts genuine emotion into every line.
