I have to say, it didn’t convince me. The whole plot was basically just smut, which is cool if that’s what you’re into but it definitely didn’t do it for me. The romance was pretty cute but again, pretty stereotypical. Their banter was cute and the tension was definitely there. I can imagine other people enjoying this, it’s just not very much for me. It was an okay read, not my favourite though. I’ve read better hockey romances.
The premise of the book sounds a lot like the chase by Elle Kennedy. Tattooed and kind of moody and quiet Hockey Player? Check. Girly female Protagonists who has ADHD? Check. Her older brother ist his teammate? Check. She moves in with them? Check. Apart from that I did really enjoy this book. Usually I dislike books that have Cancer as a subplot but this one was okay. I think everything about the BCAS was pretty accurate and I really feel with her. The Questions was quite cute. But somehow Chase felt like a totally different Character in this book than in his. Maybe that is because I read the first book a while ago but I remembered him more easy going and not this struggling.
