Es gibt ja so Bücher, mit denen ich ein bisschen herumtrödle, nicht weil sie so schlecht sind, sondern weil ich nicht will dass sie zu Ende sind. Ich finde Fae-Romantasy ja immer noch gut und kriege nicht genug davon. Und Servant of Earth war eine Variante davon, die sich von der Masse abhebt. So gut geschrieben, dass ich durch die Kapitel geflogen bin. Mit einer sympathischen Hauptfigur, tödlichem Wettbewerb, Intrigen im Ballsaal, jeder Menge düsterer Geheimnisse und einem blutrünstigen Dolch mit Bewusstsein, der auf geheimnisvolle Weise mit Kenna verbunden ist. Und die Fae-Männer... Also besonders einer... Die Welt der Fae war düsterer als erwartet, aber gerade dadurch konnte ich das Buch auch nicht mehr weglegen. Ich fand die Geschichte von Anfang an spannend, aber gegen Ende hat die Autorin nochmal einen Zahn zugelegt. Die Wendungen und das Ende haben so viel Spaß gemacht. Und jetzt muss ich noch so lange auf die Fortsetzung warten...
Ahh this one is a unique setting underground. It definitely gives ACOTAR vibes from the "under the mountain" having the all action happening there. Strong FMC and focus on friendship. Definitely open to read the 2 book. I got this book from my book in a box subscription so I went in blind. Loved it.
