90s Rom-Com vibes and I’m here for it

2.75 ★

Leichte Geschichte, einfacher Schreibstil.

4.25⭐ Rachel Laceys books always have the perfect amount of fluff and angst. And I'm usually never bored, even if I might not care that much about the plot. I had pretty low expectations for this one, since I didn't love the second one in the series. But I was obviously pleasantly surprised. I really liked the two main characters. I just didn't enjoy the scenes with all the side characters. I'm usually a person who just ends up skimming the scenes with dice characters and this one was no different. Usually I like the spice characters in Rachel Lacey books, but I didn't like Lia in her own book and I didn't like her in this one either. Janes sister was very sweet though and I loved how supportive she was.
