About the book

The New York Time's bestseller from coauthor of Five Feet Apart and She Gets the Girl comes a fresh and inventive sapphic romantic comedy that’s What If It’s Us meets Bridgerton.

What if you found a once-in-a-lifetime love…just not in your lifetime?

Seventeen-year-old Audrey Cameron has lost her spark. After an embarrassing run-in with her ex-boyfriend, she’s told that she needs to get back out there and take risks. What she doesn't expect is to be transported to Regency England!

Lucy Sinclair has her own problems – stifled by her father and trying to avoid an unwanted marriage proposal – when Audrey lands into her life, claiming to be from two hundred years in the future, it's a welcome distraction.

While the girls try to understand what’s happening and how to send Audrey home, their sparks make a comeback in a most unexpected way - instead of falling for their suitors and the happily-ever-afters everyone expects of them, they fall for each other.

Can their love story survive impossible circumstances?

A swoony time-travelling YA romance set in the regency era about finding your spark – a lesbian Jane Austen story.

    Mal was anderes 😊

I don't think I can put the love I have for this book into words. The following Review will not do this book any justice because it is THAT great.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗼𝘁 📝 After a breakup Audrey lost her spark both in love and passion. As she gets sent back in time, she's determined to find love and rekindle her passion for drawing again. Lucy desperately wants to avoid her potential suitor. As Audrey lands in the middle of her field, claiming she's from the future, she agrees to help her settle and find a potential match for Audrey. They are supposed to fall for their potential suitors but instead they start falling for one another. With great challenges thrown into their path, will their love prevail? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 👥 As expected the main characters are Lucy and Audrey. The story is told from their POVs and I honestly cannot tell you how much I love these two. Both of them have a goal in their story and the plot works towards them. The plot follows a clear path and honestly the writing of their individual characters is wonderful. Not to mention the amazing side characters. Most of them were so loving and wonderful and I actually have the desire to give them a group hug. Of course there are a few characters I would exclude from that list. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 💭 Speaking of Chemistry: The Tension!!! It. Was. Amazing. It felt so real, so hard and so perfect. It certainly was not an instant soul mates situation and I loved that. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 5 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀? ⭐ I'd give this unlimited Stars if I could. It truly changed me as a person. It made me hopeful and inspired me to maybe try and find my destined partner. Though I hope I do not have to travel back in time, I am not suited for corsets and dancing. This book is one of my favorite comfort books, it feels like you can jump into one loving family (Audrey's) and you feel the love within these pages. After She Gets The Girl, this was another amazing book I could not seem to put down.

I don't think I can put the love I have for this book into words. The following Review will not do this book any justice because it is THAT great.

Oh god my girl is GONE ✨ She doesn't even know that, in our time, it's okay to love girls. She's just like "hey what if Audrey loves me"🏳️‍🌈 (Side note: anyone else reading the sepred parts in different accents? Like Audreys in an American and Lucy's in a British one? 😅
