Es war sehr anstrengend geschrieben und wäre es kein Buchclub Buch gewesen, hätte ich es wohl abgebrochen. Die Idee von dem nonbinären Shapeshifter finde ich Mega und hatte für mich so viel Potenzial. Umso blöder finde ich was mit diesem Potenzial gemacht wurde. Es wurde hauptsächlich die sexuelle Seite beleuchtet. Ohne dabei per se Sex Positiv zu sein. Jungen waren horny aber Mädchen wieder naughty. Queere Beleidigungen untereinander wurden als haha schau wie locker wir sind gepriesen. Alles in allem war das ganze Buch, Schreibweise, Story Umsetzung und Protagonist zu sehr auf Möchtegern cool und anders gepolt und hat sich zu vieler Klischees bedient. Der halbe Stern ist für die gute Musik die im Buch mehrfach genannt wurde. Ansonsten nein! Keine Empfehlung. Das Buch ist anders wild wie ein schlechter Trip ohne dabei den Kult Faktor zu erreichen wie zb Fear and Loathing. Einfach nur flach, unlustig und gewollt aber nicht gekonnt.
