Bea Stache lives in Schwalmstadt, North Hesse, Germany, and is the mother of two children. In 2016, she fell seriously ill and could no longer work in her profession as an educator. Writing stories was previously just a hobby, but through her successes on the Internet platform Wattpad, it became her new vocation. The author writes in the genres of children's and youth literature, urban fantasy, epic fantasy, science fiction, dystopic and historical novels. She won the Platinum Award from Wattpad in 2019 and 2020 in the category of fantasy and the Diamond Award in 2019 for a historical novel. For the translation of her works she was able to sign the outstanding American author and translator Katharine Oden and they are now working on further translations for the international book market.
