About the book

Marianne Kaurin, geboren 1974, studierte am Norwegischen Kinderbuchinstitut in Oslo. 2012 debütierte sie mit ihrem Jugendroman Beinahe Herbst (Arctis), für den sie zwei der wichtigsten Jugendliteraturpreise Norwegens erhielt. 2021 folgte die Auszeichnung mit dem Deutschen Kinderliteraturpreis für Irgendwo ist immer Süden (WooW Books). Die Autorin wohnt mit ihrer Familie in Oslo.
