3.75⭐ | 2.5🌶️ The MC is so WOW. Written by a woman, obviously but like... Hes THE standard. The way he made me feel ughhh Bailey though... I found her very bland. I was always SO happy when the chapter was written from Chase's POV I must say though, it was too long. Almost 600 pages on the ereader, considering nothing happened until the last 80 pages and even then i had to drag myself through it.
Ich weiß noch nicht mal wirklich, was mich stört, dass ich nur 4 Sterne geben kann. Aber irgendwie konnte es mich nicht zu 100% überzeugen. Mir ging das am Anfang irgendwie etwas zu schnell mit Bailey und Chase, obwohl Luke sich gerade erst von ihr getrennt hat. Auch wenn er ein absolutes Arschloch war. Dann wieder diese Kommunikation zwischen den beiden. Das sie ihm, meiner Meinung nach, nicht wirklich vertraut hat. Ich weiß auch nicht. Es ist ein gutes Buch, wirklich, aber für mich keine 5 Sterne.
Solides Buch. Ich hab im Nachhinein erfahren, dass es ursprünglich eine Wattpad Story war. und yes, if makes sense. Dieser Plot ist irgendwie typisch dafür und auch irgendwie delulu und dieser crazy völlig verklatschte ex. Er hat Schluss gemacht, weil er sie nicht mehr wollte, und hat sie mehrmals betrogen, aber sie darf auf keinen Fall weitermachen und ein neues Leben starten, what a shame. Aber gut dass dieser gezwungen Breakup (Third breakup), von wegen “wenn du nicht schluss machst zerstöre ich ihr Leben”, ein bisschen Sinn gemacht hat und nicht einfach mit einem gefakten Breakup abgetan werden konnte. Was er sonst in den meisten Fällen einfach durchgezogen werden könnte. 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
Loved it. It was a fun book with loads of cute moments and. amazing main characters. The book did feel like an elle kennedy briar book. It did not have too much drama between the MC Bailey and Chase, instead both, but Bailey in particular, had to deal with a lot of drama regarding her friends. This was just a great comfort book.
