Description

A steamy, forbidden sports romance from New York Times bestselling author K. Bromberg! Spencer Riggs is sexy, intense and driven in his pursuit of all things racing. That pursuit now includes me. The cocky bad boy of racing struts onto my team like he owns it. One look from him and I can tell he thinks he owns me too. I'm determined to resist that panty-melting smile he keeps flashing my way. I have no time for distractions. Fulfilling a last promise to my father is my only goal. Race after race, city after city, I do my best to keep it professional. I swear I do. But one night after a hard-fought win, we're celebrating, and Riggs claims his own sweet victory. Me. His sizzling touch owns my body, but it's the broken man beneath the public façade who slowly wins my heart. Before I realize it, Riggs is the one I'm willing to risk everything for. Even if it means breaking a promise. But with our hearts on the line, will he risk everything for me?

very enthusiastic yes! This book was so much fun!! I love sports romance and I’m obsessed with f1 romances. But many are a bit… ehhh. Either really unrealistic with the racing aspects, the same overused mid-plot or very bad writing. But Off The Grid was a very exciting one! I loved every second of it. You get it all from this one. It has the most adorable romance in it - she hates him, he’s the biggest simp for her. She’s the sassy grumpy one. He’s the golden retriever bubbly sunshine. They instantly hit it off, when meeting in a bar. But go different ways afterwards. Fate make them meet again but this time as f1 racer and head of marketing for the same team. We got the setting. Enter - the teasing, tension and banter. Which was all phenomenal. I had the most fun with some hilarious lines and top notch banter. And some pretty amazing spice. Really well written and the perfect amount the story needed. AAAARGHBEKFKWKDE THEY ARE ADORABLE. I was grinning and kicking my feet like a total dumbass because they are so precious omg. And we get to see Cami slowly open up and read about them falling in love. Both scared from different kinds of traumatic pasts, they help each other overcome those traumas. And it was beautiful and sweet and made me cry some happy and some sad tears. So we got the romance part of the book all analyzed: it’s great. But what about the sport aspect? Fear not, we get a good dose of racing moments with pretty accurate f1 scenes. Which made me very happy. Nothing annoys me more than unrealistic f1 in books. so… what else could we wish for?? correct, nothing. I had the best time with this book. I was instantly obsessed. It’s such a feel good read!! I can’t wait for the other books in this series and read about the other drivers! 5

One star would feel too harsh. But that’s about it. Got a lot of the f1 technicalities right, a couple very wrong. The macho behaviour at times just really didn’t make riggs a consistent mc, which was annoying but oh well. Merged review: One star would feel too harsh. But that’s about it.
