3.8 Oh my. I am so shocked and confused and sad that I don't even know what I feel. This is soooo sad. When I started reading this book, I thought it was nonfiction, but then I found out that it is actually fiction based on the hadeeth. It is so long, but soooo sad. It is a powerful book. However, I don't think it should ever be used to guide our behaviour as Muslims, but to get a general sense of the historical events, it is a good book. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who doesn't like death because the main point of the book is that everyone is human. Thus, everyone dies. I am so confused because I don't know if I love the book or hate the book. However, the author question ls and answers section puts many things into perspective. One thing that I loved most is that it is clear it the last there were no sunnis, Shias, etc, they were all just purely Muslims.
