Oh mein Gott ... und es geht wieder los... magisch ,spannend und so farbenprächtig Ich finde diese farbige Schreibweise so toll ... man fühlt sich wie in einer bunten Seifenblase ... ich hoffe sie platzt nicht... sooo schön ... Seufzer Diesmal begleiten wir die Schwester ... Scarlett steht nicht im Fokus ... ist aber auch da Geheimnisse müssen wieder entschlüsselt werden und wieder die bange Frage ... was ist echt ... wenn kann ich trauen ... Donnatella soll auch das Geheimnisse um Legend lüften... und möchte noch ganz nebenbei jemanden retten... aber nichts ist wieder wie es scheint und ihr Leben ist in Gefahr... hat sie Ihre Ziele zu hoch gesteckt... kommt Verrat für Sie in Betracht... es steht zu viel auf dem Spiel... auch ihr Herz und sie ist allein ... oder vielleicht doch nicht ... Düster ... Geheimnisvoll und doch so farbenprächtig... komm in die Welt von Caraval... lass uns spielen...

The story follows a magical, game-like world where nothing is entirely what it seems. Characters compete in high-stakes challenges filled with illusions, secrets, and shifting loyalties. It mixes fantasy, romance, and mystery in a setting where the line between reality and the game is constantly blurred. 🎪🎭 Personally, it didn’t work for me. I wanted to love the world and get lost in the story, but I struggled to connect with it. I had to push myself to finish, and it never became the kind of book that made me excited to keep reading. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, it just means it wasn’t the right match for me 🤷🏻‍♀️ Even tho, it is definitely better than the first volume. I really hoped that Jacks would spice up the storyline a little bit, was really looking forward to this but never really happened. Fantasy is incredibly personal. Some readers adore dramatic, illusion-filled worlds and complex twists, while others prefer different styles of storytelling. I respect what the book tries to do, but it didn’t give me that “I can’t put it down” feeling. I also don’t plan to continue with the last volume. 😳 In the end, it’s okay to acknowledge when a popular book just isn’t your thing.
