Zwar gab es die ein oder andere Stelle, die sich etwas gezogen hat, aber insgesamt war es ein toller und sehr ereignisreicher Abschluss. Besonders spannend fand ich allerdings die Momente mit Gibsie und Claire, sie haben mich sogar noch mehr interessiert als die von Shannon und Johnny. Daher freue ich mich schon sehr auf ihre Geschichte! Als nächstes steht aber erstmal Joeys und Aoifes Geschichte an, auf die ich ebenfalls sehr gespannt bin.

Sehr bewegend und emotional
Die Geschichte von Shannon und Johnny hat mich sehr berührt und war einfach wunderschön. Zwar gab es die ein oder andere Stelle, die sich etwas gezogen hat, aber insgesamt war es ein toller und sehr ereignisreicher Abschluss. Besonders spannend fand ich allerdings die Momente mit Gibsie und Claire, sie haben mich sogar noch mehr interessiert als die von Shannon und Johnny. Daher freue ich mich schon sehr auf ihre Geschichte! Als nächstes steht aber erstmal Joeys und Aoifes Geschichte an, auf die ich ebenfalls sehr gespannt bin.
Wow. Keeping 13 hat mich komplett zerstört – im besten und schlimmsten Sinne. Ich dachte ja, der erste Teil war schon heftig, aber dieser hier? Noch intensiver, noch emotionaler. So viele Tränen sind geflossen, weil das Schicksal von Johnny und Shannon einfach so grausam ist. Diese Geschichte geht echt ans Herz.
Chloe Walsh schafft es, schwere Themen wie Trauma und psychische Gesundheit so realistisch und berührend zu erzählen, dass man sich den Charakteren total nah fühlt. Shannon beweist trotz allem eine unglaubliche Stärke, und Johnny kämpft so sehr mit seinen eigenen Dämonen, dass es weh tut, ihm dabei zuzusehen. Ihre Beziehung? Schmerzhaft schön.
Zum Glück gibt es Nebenfiguren wie Gibsie, die immer wieder für Lacher sorgen – sonst hätte ich das Buch emotional nicht überlebt. Aber trotz aller Dunkelheit bleibt da auch Hoffnung. Keeping 13 ist eine Achterbahnfahrt der Gefühle und hat mich völlig mitgerissen. Absolut lesenswert und ich bin sehr gespannt wie diese Reihe noch weiter gehen wird.
