Day Leitao has created a world that has been so much fun to explore with characters that grow on you pretty quickly. To see their struggles continue in this book has been different from the first one because the issues addressed are so different. But this has rounded up the story quite nicely, I just would have wanted to understand what happens in the Hollow a little more but I think that is all due to the characters in the book not knowing more. Same with the big enemy. You only learn what the characters learn and the picture isn't complete. Which is a little frustrating but it's also completely fine. I would really love to read more about Leah, Fel, Naia, River and Azir.
