Ein ernstes Thema Zum Buch: Zoé wächst in Berlin auf, als ihre Mutter beschließt zurück in ihre alte Heimat zu ziehen. Das heißt für Zoé aus der GroßStadt in ein Kaff am Niederrhein. Dort lernt Zoé Adil kennen, einen Flüchtling aus Syrien, und sie ist total fasziniert von ihm und von seiner Geschichte. Als dann fast vierhundert Flüchtlinge in der Stadt untergebracht werden sollen, kochen die Emotionen hoch und auch für Zoé und Adil weht ein anderer Wind ... Meine Meinung: Eine Geschichte, die mich tief berührt hat, ein unglaublich ernstes Thema, aktueller denn je. Aber in eine unglaublich gut erzählte Geschichte verpackt. Susanne Rocholl ist es sehr gut gelungen, die Ernsthaftigkeit der Situation in eine berührende Story zu packen, wie sie tagtäglich überall in Europa geschieht. Zoé und Adil würden sehr authentisch beschrieben, genauso wie ihre Situation und ihre Erlebnisse. Gerade die Geschichte von Adil war glaubhaft geschildert. Für mich was das Buch ein absolutes Lesehighlight und ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen. Vielleicht macht es uns ein kleines bisschen sensibler und verständnisvoller für unsere MitmMenschen, die nunmal nicht das Glück hatten in Deutschland geboren zu sein und nun in der Fremde mit völlig anderen Kulturen zurechtkommen müssen. Ein bisschen mehr Toleranz steht uns allen gut.
