Man kriegt Lust auf mehr. Daniel Silva ist underrated.
Auf das Buch bin ich zufällig gestoßen, ich wollte mal etwas in Richtung Politthriller ausprobieren und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Auch wenn Silva einen individuellen Stil schreibt und bspw. viele französische Begriffe verwendet, war es zu Beginn gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber man kommt gut rein. Sein Wissen in den Begebenheiten des Nahen Osten spiegelt sich auf den Seiten wieder und er schreibt mit einer seltenen Spannung. Das Buch baut viel auf den Vorgänger Band auf (welchen ich noch lesen werde), dennoch ist es ein gutes Buch.
I tried very hard to make this book last forever but unfortunately it couldn't, and I had to finish it. It was an incredible book, and I think I spent every page filled with terror that every character I loved was going to die. I was intrigued throughout and hooked in, gripped by the climax and relieved when everything ended as it should have. I love reading Gabriel Allon, and I can't wait til the next one.
