Das perfekte Ende
Auch in Heist Royale folgen wir Ross, wie sie sich nach dem Ende des Thieves Gambit in der Organisation behauptet, bis es zu einem Eklat kommt und sie und ihre Freunde dabei unterstützen zu klären, wer die Organisation anführen wird. Auch das zweite Buch hat mich absolut überzeugt, der Witz, die Entwicklung der Charaktere und die spannenden Aufgaben haben es für mich zu einem perfekten zweiten Teil gemacht. Nach dem ersten hatte ich hohe Erwartungen und diese wurden alle erfüllt und teilweise sogar übertroffen. Ich habe dieses Buch in einem Rutsch durchgelesen und hatte wahnsinnig viel Spaß dabei. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Konsistenz der Handlungen von Devroe, seine Entscheidungen und was er tat ergaben Sinn und waren absolut nachvollziehbar und doch hat er sein Charakter und Wesen, den wir aus dem ersten Buch kennen nie verraten oder Dinge getan die so gar nicht passten. Ich kann dieses Buch absolut empfehlen.
☆ 3-4 Sterne ☆ Ich habe ein bisschen das Gefühl, es war irgendwie das Happy-End für den ersten Band... Das liegt wahrscheinlich einfach daran, dass Band 1 mit einem Cliffhanger geendet hat oder mit einem offenen Ende. Ich bin mir nicht mehr so sicher... Auf jeden Fall war Royal Gambit trotzdem schön zu lesen und es hat Spaß gemacht, ich musste mich nicht quälen. Ich fand es aber nicht so spannend wie den ersten Band. Ich weiß nicht... Aber die Reihe kann ich eigentlich wirklich empfehlen! Das Konzept ist mega cool und zum Teil auch sehr lustig. Ich finde es auf jeden Fall super schade, dass die Reihe mit diesem Buch zu Ende geht, ich wäre gerne noch ein wenig länger in der Welt der Diebe und K-Dramen geblieben.
