Description

Climate change is the global issue of the 21st century. This book addresses both the natural and the human causes for the earth’s “groaning and frustration.” It outlines the biblical and cultural issues in caring for God’s creation, and the Christian hope that the church and her agencies will be faithful stewards for its restoration and renewal. The author rejects the view that unless the world reaches zero carbon increase by 2050, it will pass a “tipping point.” Instead, he suggests how to live. This book is a must-read by all who care for the future of God’s Planet Earth. “Bruce Nicholls makes a strong case that the environmental problems are both spiritual and moral. This book, then, is his sincere call to the evangelicals to be at the forefront and to involve more deeply in sustaining the creation and restoring it more deeply to the glory of its Creator.” Dr Andreas Himawan, principal of the STT Amat Agung, Jakarta, and chairman of ATA.
