Great Series

I really love the Farseer Series and am very happy to return to it with „Fools Errand“. We got a lot of Fitz and the Fool time which is always a win. Robin Hobb manages to describe the complex relationships so well and I enjoyed following their development. Reading this book i had moments I laughed out loud but also times when I nearly cried. I am excited to continue on with the series.

While the story itself was probably my least favourite one by Robin Hobb so far, so much of the book just worked. The emotions, the reunions, the impact the previous books left on Fitz - all of it was incredibly well executed and affected me so much. There was maybe too little actual plot progression, but I wouldnt want to sacrifice any of the quiet and personal moments. I can't wait to find out how things will go from here.

Cried countless times while reading, felt every emotion, and still have 9 books to go. This is going to be fun. 10/10 would cry again.

This book broke my heart. I haven't cried while reading in a long time but this just pulled at my heart strings so bad I was bawling my eyes out by the end. I loved seeing Fitz as an adult. He's so much more mature, as can be expected after his whole ordeal in the first trilogy, and his relationship with Nighteyes and the Fool are still the highlight of the series.
