The cover of "Ella's Ice-Cream Summer is" screaming summer read. I love the pastel colours and the old ice-cream yan on the cover. I started well into the book and I was immediately caught into it with its brilliant humour. There were so many funny scenes which kept me well entertained throughout the book. Especially Ella's mother was absolutely hilarious. Ella was a sweet woman who I really liked. I loved the passion she put into the ice-cream business. God, what would I do to taste those amazing ice-cream flavours which were described in the book. The love story didn't really work for me. I don't think Ella and Ben fit together and I didn't see what drew them to each other. The writing style is fast-paced and enjoyable which makes this book a perfect summer read.
