I had received this book via a secret santa and only picked it up a year later because I had nothing else to read. From that, you should be able to tell that my expectations weren't too high, which was mostly due to the snippet on the back being in first person POV. However! I really liked this book despite the POV because Jaz feelings were relatable - she's witty without being obnoxiously sassy. Unfortunately I cannot give this 4 stars though, because some things just seemed too convenient. If it weren't for the provided a sample of #2 [b:Another One Bites the Dust|1820174|Another One Bites the Dust (Jaz Parks, #2)|Jennifer Rardin|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1344265809s/1820174.jpg|1819754] in the extras section following the story, I would've put this book aside and read something else next, but having read the ectract I'm now actually looking forward to picking up the second book.
