It was just a waste of paper
I loved this series so far and was really excited to read this next book but sadly it fell flat of my expectations. I’ve read quite a few books of Tessa Baily and normally you can’t go wrong with any of them. Well until now. I couldn’t warm up to Chloe at all. I found here character to be very flat and not likable. And secondly the whole story was just flat. I’ve read my fair share of step sibling tropes and since starting the book the only question I had was how this problem of becoming step siblings and being in love will be solved and was disappointed that the whole book felt like going in circles just until the last bit of the book. To my shame I have to admit that I actually skipped almost half of the book and not even have missed something substantial. I just hope the next will be like the first two because Ei loved those a lot.
