I would have read that in one sitting, but I was also extremely tired. This is an easy read. One I would have loved when I was 10, but also still love now that I am 24. The novel is funny, entertaining and very low-stakes, just how I want my cozy fantasy to be. The characters were * chef's kiss * and the story was enriched by many subtle and not so subtle hints on fairytales, myths and folklore. Off I go to read more books for children because apparently this is just how I want my books to be.
