    Ich bin auf dieses Buch durch meine KindleUnlimited Empfehlungen gestoßen. Corrupted Chaos ist tatsächlich der zweite Band einer Reihe auch wenn das nicht wirklich ersichtlich ist. Weder auf Amazon noch auf GoodReads war das zu sehen. Ich habe mit dem Lesen begonnen und dann doch recht schnell festgestellt, dass mir hier einige Infos fehlen. Man kann das Buch trotzdem lesen. Izzy arbeitet in der IT-Branche und ist eine begabte Hackerin. Nach ihrer Vergangenheit als undercover Ermittlerin wurde sie degradiert. Statt für den Staat zu arbeiten wurde sie versetzt und darf nun lästige IT-Arbeiten für eine große Firma erledigen. Und das alles nur weil ihr Boss Cade ihr nichts zutraut. Doch Cade verfolgt andere Motive Izzy von der Arbeit im Bereich Kriminalität abzuhalten. Der Mafiosi kann sich einfach nicht von ihr fern halten und möchte sie in Sicherheit wissen. Die Story war echt unterhaltsam. Ich war nur irgendwann verwirrt und habe festgestellt, dass ich gerade den zweiten Teil einer Reihe lese, die ich abgebrochen habe.

    So, I‘m only gonna talk about the story itself. In the beginning, it sort of lacked something. But then, towards 2/3 in, their dynamic begann to grow on me. 3/5 ⭐️ 4.5/5
