Überraschend spannend, sozialkritisch und voller Herz. Zu Beginn hab ich mich ziemlich eingeschissen und konnte erst mal nicht weiterlesen (zu meiner Verteidigung war ich da in nem fremden Haus, was andauernd geknarzt hat!!!). Die letztendliche Auflösung des ganzen hab ich wirklich absolut nicht kommen sehen - kann ich mir sehr gut als Film ähnlich zu Cabin in the Woods vorstellen!
Great mix of body horror, fun and satire that left me thinking and thoroughly after I was done. Some of the gorier scenes were grazing the edges of my comfort zones (those are obv highly subjective) and I think the middle part of the book could have been a bit tighter in terms of pacing. Very fun and enjoyable read overall!
