The picturesque Cotswolds village of Bunburry has been rocked by a series of burglaries, with dark suspicions over who is responsible. A discovery at the scene of the crime in the home of Bunburry’s favourite senior citizens, Liz and Marge, leads amateur sleuth Alfie to fear the worst. He decides that this time, the matter should be left to the proper authorities. Der 14. Teil der Cosy Crime Reihe...
Willkommen in Bunburry. Diese Reihe höre ich sehr gern zwischendurch wenn ich einfach mal was unaufgeregtes langsam vor sich hin plätscherndes brauche. Es ist ein bißchen wie die bekannten Vorabendserien, mit weniger Drama. Ich muss nicht viel mitdenken, die Charaktere sind nach 14 Bänden hinreichend bekannt und neue "Eindringlinge" in das Bunburry Idyll werden so eingefügt das sie kein großes Umdenken erfordern. Natürlich fiebere ich auch bei den Neuentwicklungen bei den mittlerweile liebgewonnen Charakteren mit. Nichts was lange im Gedächtnis bleibt und kein Buch das nachhalt, aber für knapp 4 Stunden wird man gut unterhalten (wenn man diese Art der Unterhaltung mag). Gelesen von Uve Teschner 👍
