I don’t know why I was having such a hard time with this book, but it was the book that I read during Christmas and I watched the show all the seasons before I was reading this book because I have read this book before or at least tried reading it but ended up not completing it after reaching about 20% of the book so I thought let’s give this another shot since you’ve seen the show now and you know what’s happening in this book. This book is literally what happens in season one and we learn a lot more about each character that is actually missing in the show so we learned a lot about the background story of what is happening in the background and how each of the characters is dealing with this, but this book is mostly about Ellie and her story or at least she is the main featured main character in this book and sadly our favourite police guy is not really showing up in this book at all
