My my.. This book was a trip. It felt like a challenge : "How many sexscenes with how many people involved can I include before it's totally ridiculous?". A lot. And long ones. Like three to four chapters long. I'm not even saying that I didn't like them, just that I was suprised how many scenes were possible. Basically Anita now has several ménage à trois, mostly in between her polyamorous relationships and some casual sex. I liked the explanations for polyamory and that the characters were totally content with everything. Nevertheless I must confess that I would have not complained about a little less "ardeur" and more storyline. The crime storyline felt forced, again. Also I'm very tired about every time she has to go to a crimescene and every time she's "forced" to play bad cop because no one would give her respect otherwise. Well.. I doubt that very much. I should not even start with my wish for more zombie-action. Anita's always saying how she's the best, the only one who can do xy but since the early books I'm not shown much to prove that to me. This time she felt that she could be able to raise an entire cemetery. Nice. But that's it. I'm interested in how her goal to be a good White Wiccan Animator is going to play out. All in all.. I liked the book but it didn't affect me emotionally and I did not held my breath because of the action, so three stars. There was more potential. But if you want a light read with many explicit sexscenes with very beautiful men, that's your book ;)
