About the book
The International Society of Biotelemetry was founded in 1973 with the objective of promoting the technology of biotelemetry and its application to Medicine and Life Sciences. International Symposia are held every two years at venues that rotate between Europe, North America, and the other continents.
The Proceedings of the 14th International Symposium on Biotelemetry held in Marburg, Germany, from April 6-11, 1997, document the highly interdisciplinary activity of biotelemetry in the fields of engineering, physics, biology, physiology, and medicine.
