Mir wurde es empfohlen uns ich muss sagen es war garnicht schlecht. Ice Hockey ist jetzt nicht wirklich eine Sportart die ich verfolge. So wirklich viel ist darin auch nicht vorkommen aber genug um zu wissen das es um Sport geht. Das haupt Merkmal war ganz klar auf dem Love Couple und die Story von der Kinder-/Jugendliebe bis zum Erwachsenen.

Hello Bücherfreunde, in Teil eins der Lakes Hockey Series geht es um Bridget und Lonan. Die zwei sind Childhood-Sweethearts, die sich sagen wir mal aus den Augen verloren haben... Wie sie wieder auf einander treffen und sich neu kennenlernen war echt süß und unglaublich heiß (ich meine hallo habt ihr die Szene gelesen, wo die zwei Truth or Dare spielen?!). Ich bin schon auf den Rest der Reihe gespannt und wünsche euch wie immer... Viel Spaß beim Lesen XOXO Jojo
2.5⭐️2🌶️ The story starts really interesting when we find out the FMC is an abducted child that grows up under her emotionally abusive “mother”. But then the plot kinda looses the drive and interest. The story is super fast paced and kinda misses a bit of depth. The characters are missing chemistry or at least I did not feel their connection, even though the trope childhood-best friends is always a good one with all the feels.. But to be fair this is a debut book and I bet the rest of the series is better :)
3,5 Stars Over all a nice love story. Loved the chemistry of the FMC and MMC. The underlying story was also very unique and interesting. Did not like how the 3rd act breakup was handled. The miscommunication was to weak and not believable. And then they just got back together at the end and there was no satisfying conclusion to the conflict.
