An Innocent Abroad

Summer, 1955... When Jean joins her friend Jackie on a Greek island holiday, she expects sun, sea and sand.As soon as she reaches the airport she is made to feel unwelcome, particularly by Jackie's cousin Teddy. The group are wealthy and sophisticated. Jean, stuck in a dull job and living at home, feels childish by comparison.The shared shock of a break-in at their villa builds some common ground, and Jean begins to feel less isolated. Getting to know Teddy better distracts her from the odd things that keep happening, which no one else seems to notice.Jean isn't sure what she wants, except for people to take her seriously. But one evening emotions run high and a series of events is set in motion which changes lives.Jean thinks she is in control, but is she?
