A Study in Scarlet

The word “Rache” (“reverenge” in German) is scrawled in blood on the wall of an empty London house, where the police have found the dead body of a man. Puzzled, Scotland Yard seeks the help of a young man with an analytical mind who seems to enjoy solving the most complicated riddles: Sherlock Holmes.
