A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire: Blood and Ash, Book 2

2,5 stars i dont read a 600 pages book for nothing to happen except the end.. Even the characters where slightly annoyed by all of poppys questions, i can understand how strange it is for her but broooo do i really need to read a Q and A which is over 600 pages long?

Too much useless bickering and romantic drama not enough plot. It started to get interesting in the last 20 pages and that can't be right. Also why do these female characters always have to be Mary sues. First aelin then feyre and now poppy.

Adventurous, light hearted, a quick read. Plot is fairly predictable, some scenes were very cliché, and some more explicit scenes were oddly misplaced. Somehow, that did not reduce the entertainment factor and I found it to be an absolute page-turner. Plot and world-building is slightly stronger than FBAA #1, I enjoyed this part a bit more. 4/5
