Description
Izuki, dismissive of the superstition, goes exploring - only to be attacked by a yokai in the woods. He's saved by a beautiful man named Haku, who claims to be the incarnation of a komainu guardian dog. He pledges himself to Izuki and begs him to be his master. Izuki refuses at first, wanting to return to the city as quickly as possible, but is swayed by Haku's lonely eyes and brings him back to the house. Gradually, he falls into a comfortable rhythm with the pushy but devoted Haku while living under the same roof, and Izuki wonders if he really wants to return to the city as he thought.
However, Haku harbors a secret that could put Izuki's life at risk. Will Izuki and Haku come together in the end, or will Haku succumb to the loneliness that he's held at bay for centuries...?

This was really cute 🤧💕, and I love them both. But I don't know what to say 😅, the story was Okay....,the artstyle is pretty... and Haku 😫🔥 - I mean look at him <3. Okay I must say the beginning was kinda weird but yeah...😅... And omg the ending? 🥲💔... my heart .... but I am happy they are now together forever!!! Oh and this cat was weird but funny xD

Izuki soll auf ein Haus aufpassen, das in einem Waldstück nahe eines Bergs liegt, auf dem Yokai hausen sollen. Beim Erkunden der Umgebung verläuft er sich und trifft auf Haku, einen Komainu Yokai, der ihn kurzerhand zu seinem Herrn erklärt. Aber Izukis Zeit dort soll eigentlich nur kurz sein … Der Einzelband besticht mit den schönen Zeichnungen und auch die Chibis waren unglaublich niedlich. Zu Beginn gab es ein paar übergriffige Szenen, die mir weniger gefallen haben, aber da ich am Ende losgeheult habe, bekommt es trotzdem ein Gütesiegel von mir. Denn die Geschichte ist zwar traurig, aber auch voller Hoffnung und hat mich in den Emotionen, die es in mir hervorgerufen hat am Ende, an „New York, New York“ erinnert – ich hab ewig nicht mehr an diese Reihe gedacht. Wer also hübsche Zeichnungen mit einer ruhigen, aber auch emotionalen Geschichte haben möchte, sollte mal einen Blick riskieren.
