Barbarian's Bride: A SciFi Alien Romance (Ice Planet Barbarians, Band 21)

Ich liebe die Ice Planet serie einfach, sie ist cozy smutty und super einfach zu lesen. Tiffany und Salukh sind ein tolles Pärchen. Dieser Band legt seinen Fokus definitiv auf Charakterentwicklung was ich bei Tiffany’s Vorgeschichte aber gut finde. Ich fand Salukh als Partner für sie echt richtig toll weil er ihr die Zeit gibt die sie benötigt um selbst wieder mit sich ins reine zu kommen und jemanden an sich ran zu lassen. Der smut kommt aber definitiv nicht zu kurz und ich habe die hints für den nächsten Band mit Josie einfach geliebt dementsprechend freue ich mich schon sehr auf Band 6 🥹

Tw: Trauma, rape I am so so pleased that this book handled the trauma that was endured on the ship and how it was done. Tiffany didn’t first resonate to someone and then had to figure out how to handle her ptsd. She had time to do it on her own terms, with someone she trusted not to rush her and who would respect her boundaries. Who respected her and was actually interested in her as a person, not just as a potential mate. So this book might actually be one of the most meaningful once so far, at least to me.
