I loved every second of this book and the whole story. The characters are so well developed and historically, this book is a great example of societal norms back in this period of time. It deals with important topics so beautifully and I hope you can give it a shot. May it become your favourite book of all time :)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading "To Kill a Mockingbird." This year, I've developed a deep appreciation for stories told from a child's perspective, and this novel was absolutely perfect in that regard. The kids were amazing—Scout and Jem's adventures were both heartwarming and thought-provoking. I particularly loved the details about Scout's childhood, her family dynamics and the neighborhood. The conversations in particular added so much depth to the story. Atticus Finch stands out as one of the most intelligent and loving parental figures I've ever encountered in literature. His moral integrity and guidance are truly inspiring. The build-up to the trial of Tom Robinson highlights the deep-rooted racism in the community the kids grow up in. While the pacing was slower than I expected, this part of the story ultimately provides a pivotal commentary on justice and inequality. To experience the tension and emotional weight of the trial through Scout’s eyes made it even more impactful. Highly recommend this book!
