Tom Hindle is one of the few authors i know never write a bad book. As his other works „Death in the arctic“ has been nothing short of amazing. Tho it is seemingly different from my favorite of his „Murder games“ ~Spoiler~ Given how fast the story progressed in „Murder games“ i was a bit dragged down by the fact that the first body was found at about halfway through the book. Of course it is unreasonable to try and compare to different books but having read the other one first, ot seemed that this one was moving a lot slower. Sadly it was pretty foreseeable in the beginning that howard will die. Devons death tho came to a surprise to me. The suspension at the very end of the book definitely made me feel eager to read the last few pages in a quicker pace. Unsurprisingly Hindel managed to fit in all the little details that unravel into one at the end. All in all i enjoyed it a lot but in comparison to his other books it personally didn’t move fast enough for me. But it is definitely worth a read.
