Für mich ist Untangle Me ein absolutes Wohlfühlbuch. Mit ihrer Geschichte erschafft die Autorin vielschichtige und authentische Charaktere, die über sich hinauswachsen. Rosie ist eine starke junge Frau, die vergessen hat, wie man sich selbst an erste Stelle setzt und sich etwas Gutes tut. Adam ist ein loyaler, liebevoller Mann, der viel Liebe zu geben hat und sich eine eigene Familie wünscht. Der Schreibstil ist sehr angenehm und hat mich nur so durch die Seiten fliegen lassen. Obwohl Themen wie Adoption, das Dasein als Singlemum und Einsamkeit ein Thema sind, fehlt der Geschichte keinesfalls an Leichtigkeit und Humor. Die Fellnasen tun da ihr Übriges. Mit diesem Buch hat Becka Mack mir gezeigt, dass nicht jede Geschichte überdramatisch und laut erzählt werden muss und dass stille Wasser durchaus tief sind. Sie hat mich auch mit diesem Buch die Zeit vergessen lassen.⏳💕

Adam is a hockey player who is very hurt from his last Long relationship And just wants to be Seen as adam And Not the Rich hockey player. Adam is the biggest Softie And his relationship to connor And lilie aaaah. There Are so cute together 🩷 This is my Favourite so far from the Playing for keeps Series ~🩷🏒🥅🐕🦺🦮👧👶❤️
Eines meiner Jahreshighlights. Rosie und Adam sind so so toll. Ich mochte Adam schon in den Vorgängerbänden sehr gerne und habe seine Ex abgrundtief gehasst. Diese Geschichte hatte alles was ich mir von einem guten Buch erwarte, tolle Haupt- und Nebencharaktere, Humor, Herzschmerz, Liebe, Freundschaft.... Ich habe nicht nur eine Träne vergossen beim Finden von Rosie und Adam!
Oh boy 🥹 I maybe shed some tears throughout the book. Just because I was feeling it ALL - their pain, hurt, love, laughter, happiness. I knew this book would probably be one of my favs of this series. But I think it exceeded. One quote that stuck out with me was: "I've always thought people were like puzzle pieces. That we ucky family Lily. spend our lives searching for someone who's shaped almost as if they're just for us. You find each other, and you get this funny, excited feeling in your stomach the closer you get, the more you learn about them. And then, suddenly, something slides into place, this perfect fit, like you had this space saved just for them. And when they squeeze themselves in, it feels like your puzzle is finally complete.” Tbh that’s what I want and no one should settle for less.
4 .5⭐️ 3 🌶️ The book boyfriends just get better with each book! Adam is just *chef's kiss*! He is sweet and loyal and honest and cute and all the things you want in a man...*heavy sigh*. The story follows Rosie, a single Mom and Adam, the NFL Hockey Goalie. It is such a beautifully written love story with a few unexpected twists. To me it was refreshing, cause Adam is not the typical athlete/cocky ass, but instead knew from the beginning that he wants a family. It's lovely to see how he just accepts Rosie and her son and over the story falls in love with both of them. Again, like all books in the series, this is a heavily character driven book. At times it might be a bit overbearing, but then I feel like it resembles real life and real characters.
Adam hat nach seiner Trennung die Nase voll von Dates, die in ihm nur das Geld eines berühmten Hockeyspielers sehen. Rosie kämpft sich als alleinerziehende Mutter durch ihr Tiermedizinstudium. Als die beiden sich zufällig bei einem Spaziergang begegnen, nimmt das Schicksal seinen Lauf und beide realisieren, dass ihnen ein Puzzleteil im Leben gefehlt hat.
Die Geschichte lässt sich wieder gewohnt flüssig lesen. Man ist schnell wieder im bekannten Setting mit der gesamten Mannschaft, die man bereits aus vorherigen Büchern kannte. Ich muss sagen, ich hatte meine Vorbehalte, denn auch wenn ich Adam unheimlich mochte (mein zweitliebster Charakter nach Garrett), kann ich mit dem Single Parent-Trope eigentlich nicht so viel anfangen. Hier hat es mich aber überhaupt nicht gestört, im Gegenteil, der kleine Connor war eine sehr süße Ergänzung in der Geschichte (von den Hunden mal ganz abgesehen). Das Buch hat mich emotional sehr berührt, aber am Ende sind es doch „nur“ vier Sterne geworden. An einigen Stellen ist die Geschichte einfach zu langatmig und vorhersehbar und die Charaktere drehen sich im Kreis mit ihren Gedanken. Bei den spicy Szenen hatte ich manchmal den Eindruck, dass Adam ein wenig out of character handelt, aber wahrscheinlich soll gerade das den Reiz ausmachen ;) Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall schon auf den vierten Band, dessen Pairing auch bereits angeteasert wurde.
Honestly the least favourite out of the three. I felt like it lacked the lighthearted feeling I had while reading the other two. I understand that it was due to adams character but it was just to calm for me. And I felt like the whole family thing happened way to quickly. Nevertheless I still love all of the characters and how they still play a big role in each book regardless whose book it is.
I LOVED THIS BOOK Adam was so Perfect and I already fell in love with him in the first book of the series. Rosie is such a beautiful character too, she was magnificent and I loved her all the way to the end. Adam and Rosie are literally made for each other and I couldn’t have wished for a better ending. Adam is such a great dad and I think he was the dad Connor needed. Yes, he has a biological dad but getting the title of “dad” has to be earned and Adam earned that title right when he set his eyes on Connor and just accepted him without a second thought. He immediately accepted the fact that Rosie was a two-in-one deal and he loved every second of it- which made me fall more in love with him. Them adopting Lilly? Her getting pregnant? I couldn’t have imagined a better ending for them I was sooo happy I loved this book and can’t stop thinking about it. I couldn’t put it down-literally, I mean it’s 1am as I write this review and I just now finished it
Ich bin ganz ehrlich dieses buch war wunderschön! Habs eben zuende gelesen und bin wirklich verliebt in beide characktere. Wie adam tu rosie ist und wie rosie zu adam ist zeigt teil von wahrer liebe. Klar, es ist nur ein buch aber dieses buch kommt abgesehen von der eishockeykarriere von adam definitiv sehr nach an die realität. Ich finde es soo gut das Rosie nicht als das MODEL dargestellt wird, wie in jedem anderen Buch sondern auch einen vollkommen normalen körper mit Kleidergröße 44 hat.
Am liebsten würde ich noch mehr Sterne geben weil ich diese Buch so so gut fand, das ist auf jeden Fall ein Favorite Buch von 2025. Die Story war soo schön Single Mom found family & hockey romance, die anderen Genres weiß ich gerade nicht zu 100 %. Adam & Rosie sind so tolle Charaktere mit ähnlichen Storys und ich fand dieses dritten teil auch deutlich besser als den zweiten Teil. Ich finde sie hatten von Anfang an so eine tolle Verbindung & man hat einfach nur noch mitgefiebert und mitgefühlt bei emotionalen Momenten wovon es sehr viele gab. Es gab aber auch wieder viele spicy-szenen aber das hat der Story überhaupt nicht geschadet. Alles in allen habe ich dieses Buch geliebt & werde es sehr sehr vermissen, ich kann es wirklich jeden ans Herz legen 😊✨🤍
