This was a great start of a new #sportsromance #hockeyseries The characters are very funny, the setting is great and it approaches hockey from a different angle. Emmy is the first woman in the NHL and meets Maverick who is a #anotherwomaneverynight guy. He has a hard time making her accept that both a man and also the whole team want to support her and see her grow as a player. As she never stayed for a longer period of time Emmy isn't used to finding a family among the other players and employees of the franchise. Can't wait for the next book 😍

4.5Die größte Greenflag!
So schade, dass dieses Buch (bzw. die gesamte Reihe) bisher nicht übersetzt wurde. Es ist soo gut gewesen, für alle spicy Icehockey-Romance Liebhaber zu empfehlen. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein fiktives Setting, wo Frauen in der NHL bei den Männern mitspielen können, sofern sie die Leistung abrufen. Dabei muss die Protagonisten sich immer wieder beweisen und gegen Vorurteile ankämpfen. Ich finde dieses Buch vermittelt neben der Romance auch gegenwärtige feministische Ansätze, was es in diesem Genre besonders macht. Die Tension zwischen Emmy und Malverick ist einfach nur explosiv! Ich musste bei dem ständigen Schlagabtausch so oft grinsen. Ich konnte es nicht aus der Hand legen. Er verkörpert einfach die perfekte Greenflag, auch wenn er in der Vergangenheit ein Playboy war. Die Spice Szenen waren mega, lange nicht mehr so was gutes gelesen! Leider muss man sagen, dass es keinen wirklichen Plot gibt. Es geht primär um die Entwicklung der Charaktere und ihre Beziehung zueinander. Aber wenn man nicht mit falschen Erwartungen rangeht, wird man keinesfalls enttäuscht!
