Es ist das erste Buch mit Gedichten, dass ich gelesen habe und konnte mich direkt überzeugen. Die beiden Zitate oben haben mir mit Abstand am besten gefallen, obwohl die anderen auch alle sehr schön und tiefgründig sind. Jeder der gerne mal abschalten, etwas neues ausprobieren oder einfach nur Denkanstöße haben möchte: dieses Buch ist defintiv etwas für euch. Der Schreibstil von Atticus ist schön, schmerzhaft und ehrlich zugleich und es war schön jeden Tag ein paar Gedichte zu lesen

Kann man lieben, kann man aber auch lassen. Für mich ein durchwachsener Lyrikband mit eher mittelmäßigen und nicht wirklich tiefgründigen Texten (meine laienhafte Meinung). 2/3 (Kapitel "love" und "her") waren gespickt mit typischem Schmalz wie beispielsweise: "Angels must be warm to fly - that's why she always slept in socks." (🙄 sorry, für mich schon fast ein peinlicher Anmachspruch), das letzte Drittel (Kapitel "wild") hat mir hingegen ganz gut gefallen und war auch emotional nachdenklicher (Beispiel: "I worry there is something broken in our generation, there are too many sad eyes on happy faces."). Leider nur durchschnittlich für mich, aber vielleicht erklären ja die anderen beiden Bände den Hype um Atticus.
