About the book

Get ready for another heart-racing, twist-filled thriller from the #1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author NATASHA PRESTON.

ARE YOU AFRAID OF DYING?

It's just a stupid meme that's going around Izzy's small fishing town in the dead of winter - people reposting and sharing their biggest fear. But when her classmates start turning up dead - dying in the way that they said scared them the most - Izzy knows it's no joke.

With each death hitting closer to home, Izzy knows she must stop the killer. Could her older sister's friend Tristan have something to do with the deaths? He's given her some strange vibes. Or what about his brooding cousin, Axel? He's in her classes at school but he's not a murderer . . . is he?

Izzy soon finds herself on a path that will lead her right to the killer . . . and her own worst nightmare.

    Spoilers ahead :)

//SPOILERS!! Personally I did not like Izzy. I did not understand her decisions. Nobody with a clear mind would sneak out of their house to visit the apartment of a potential killer (TWICE!!!). At least I wouldn’t✌🏻 Also I didn’t quite get how she was just not grieving at all. Her cousin died and she just went on with her little hobby investigation. She always just said how sad she is about Amiyah‘s Death but then she just went on with making stupid unreasonable decisions. Didn’t quite get that part either, but maybe it’s just me. This whole thing just did not stick out to me, but besides that I really truly enjoyed this book and I literally flew trough it in 2 evenings. (If her other books are like this i literally want to read all of them, cause we love an easy and fast read ) Even though I did guess most of the plot the last Sentence was shocking and it’s still leaving me questioning, which I feel like is pretty good for a thriller. Also I don’t really get why people are complaining that it’s too fast paced. I mean I knew what I was getting myself into, even though I never read a book by Natasha Preston before, so y’all just really gotta chill out a bit, cause this is still a YA-Thriller. And for that it’s hella good!
