4,5 stars What can I say, this book gifted me a new fictional boyfriend: noah riley All the plottwists in this book made me feel so many emotions. It was a rollercoaster, that I can tell you Ari is a strong and confident young woman. College is about to start for her and she can't think of anything better than starting college with all her close friends and her twin brother. The last accident just before the start of college, however, happened close before college at the beach house, which severely affects Aris college time and friendgroup Noah is loving, a good cook, charming and a popular football player. He would do anything for his loved ones and loves endless if he decides to love someone. I can only wish everyone to have a Noah in their life who is selfless and simply the sweetest soul alive. Despite a tough time both characters went through, one thing is for sure. Both belong together. Both are 100% meant for each other and deserve only the best. Period

'𝕀 𝕜𝕟𝕠𝕨 𝕝𝕚𝕗𝕖 𝕨𝕠𝕟'𝕥 𝕒𝕝𝕨𝕒𝕪𝕤 𝕓𝕖 𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕪, 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕠𝕓𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕔𝕝𝕖𝕤 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕒𝕝𝕨𝕒𝕪𝕤 𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕔𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕞𝕤𝕖𝕝𝕧𝕖𝕤 𝕚𝕟 𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕨𝕒𝕪, 𝕓𝕦𝕥 𝕨𝕖 𝕔𝕒𝕟 𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕜 𝕥𝕙𝕣𝕠𝕦𝕘𝕙 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕞. 𝕎𝕖 𝕔𝕒𝕟 𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕒𝕟𝕪𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕚𝕗 𝕨𝕖 𝕔𝕒𝕟 𝕘𝕖𝕥 𝕡𝕒𝕤𝕥 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤, 𝕤𝕠 𝕝𝕠𝕟𝕘 𝕒𝕤 𝕨𝕖 𝕕𝕠 𝕚𝕥 𝕥𝕠𝕘𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣.' Dieses Buch zu bewerten fällt mir etwas schwer. Denn es war durchwachsen. Es direkt nach 'Say You Swear' zu lesen, war keine gute Idee. Denn es konnte mich gefühlsmäßig nicht so abholen. Es war eine Achterbahnfahrt der Gefühle. Ein Auf und Ab zwischen "Aww...mein Herz, wie süß und herzzerreißend ist das?!" und "Hmm..." Der Schreibstil ist wirklich wieder toll und gefühlvoll und auch meine geliebte Found-Family ist wieder vertreten. Das kam jedoch leider etwas zu kurz für mich. Und auch mehr Nate, Lolli und Parker hätte ich mir gewünscht. Stattdessen gab es hier hauptsächlich nur Payton und Mase und all ihre Sorgen und Probleme. Dann die ganzen Rückblicke. Ich mag so etwas eigentlich immer sehr, aber hier war es für mich zu viel. Hatte dadurch das Gefühl, dass die Geschichte zu langsam vorankommt. Mason hat mit seiner Art mein ganzes Herz berührt...und auch Payton hat sich klasse entwickelt. Hier merkt man wieder, wie erwachsen und verantwortungsvoll die Charaktere in Meagan Brandys Büchern sind, obwohl sie noch so jung sind. Und die Geschichte von Payton ist gewiss keine leichte. Es gab auch kleine Momente von Ari und Noah! Diese waren mein Highlight. Ebenso hat Chase sich wieder in mein Herz geschlichen. Auf sein Buch (Band 4) freue ich mich schon sehr! Ich werde 'Promise Me Not' nächsten Herbst auch noch einmal auf deutsch lesen. Vielleicht ändere ich dann meine Meinung noch einmal.

The time skips got me a little confused at first but I loved the storyline of Mason and Payton. The dynamics and tragic love moments between were very well written. I absolutely found a new five star read.
