Slow burn sapphic thriller with a supernatural twist! A Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde inspired book full of female rage. Really enjoyed the characters and the slow burn sapphic romance! The story seemed a little to slow for my liking but it was okay. Bonus point for having a character with clearly autistic traits.

This book was incredible The mystery of the deaths as well as the romance evolving between 2 of the characters was incredibly thrilling Highly recommend

I absolutely adored this book. Dark academia vibes, gothic novel elements and some fantasy elements. Philosophy and literature references. But most importantly: that deeper message that is hidden behind this amazing YA novel!

Actually 3,5 stars Didnt like the very short chapters and the ending felt a little too rushed in my opinion. Also, I would have looked forward for a trigger warning for a specific scene in this book

🫣 The Society for Soulless Girls hat mir richtig gut gefallen! „So the choice becomes this: let anger fester like black mould destroying you from the inside out, or let it free and let the world destroy you instead.“ ☕️🍂

I really liked the story and the characters kinda grew on me, but man, this one scene.. Still, lesbian jekyll and hyde re-tell, I enjoyed it in the end.

Tbh, I don't really know what to think of this book. This book had an okay start. It did not take too long to get to know about the characters and the story line. It did get very interesting in the middle part. You want to know why end how everything happens and who is responsible for everything. The end was kind of dissapointing. You do get know part of the secrets and why everything happens but i got the feeling that not all of my questions were answered. It was a nice read through halloween seasons but i probabply won't think about this book againg.

Loved the setting and I probably get the idea, but didn't enjoy the read too much.

I would have preferred waaay more of the allegedly madness-inducing Gothic Fiction seminar by Professor Sanderson. Also, the 'Evil Dead' aspects were unexpected (this is a movie reference). Last but not least: Trigger warning for animal cruelty.

I have so many questions left, how could this book just end like this ?
